Aqua Cipro Ciprofloxacin 500 mg, is an antibiotic for use in fish. It uses a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic ingredient called Ciprofloxacin, which is effective in targeting gram-negative and some gram-positive bacterial infections, like fin rot, black patch necrosis, and other bacterial infections. , it comes in Aqua Cipro Ciprofloxacin 250 mg and Aqua Cipro Ciprofloxacin  500 mg. Each bottle of Aqua cipro is sealed for safety and has instructions for fish use and the expiration date of the medicine.

Active Ingredients: The active ingredient Aqua Cipro is Ciprofloxacin 500 mg .

Directions: 

• Pre-dissolve one Capsule (500 mg) per two gallons of water in a small amount of water prior to adding to a hospital tank. 
• Immerse for one hour. 
• Repeat every day for 5-7 days with daily water changes after each treatment. 

Ciprofloxacin chelates divalent cations water hardness (increase dose for marine fish) and high divalent cations in the diet. Its activity decreases with high pH (>6.9).

It can be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the effective concentration at the target site.
